Clearwater Resort  (Christchurch)

Designed by Sir Bob Charles and the current home of the New Zealand Open, this course combines elements of links golf inspired by the great Scottish courses, with parklands golf, more reminiscent of Florida. Despite water coming into play on no less than 14 holes, this is a course that golfers of all abilities will enjoy. Situated just 15 minutes from Christchurch city centre. The resort, currently managed by Peppers, provides superb lakeside accommodation and fine dining in the club house. There is also a resident fly fishing expert who helps guests hook one of the many brown trout that live in the lakes.
