Gulf Harbour Country Club (Auckland)
This is a truely unbelievable new layout to rival any international course. The resort hosted the prestigous World Cup in 1998. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, who likens it to the illustrious Pebble Beach in California, the course played host to the 2005 Holden New Zealand Open where Niclas Fasth of Sweden beat many of the worlds top golfers. It also played host to the Blue Chip NZ Open in November 2006. The 35km drive north of Auckland will take about 40 minutes.
